Sav Resources ("we", "our", or "us") operates Email Attachment Importer. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Key Point: Your data never leaves Google's servers. We only store license information for subscription management.

Information We Collect

When you use Email Attachment Importer, we collect:

  • Email Address: Your Google account email for licensing
  • License Status: Whether you have a free or Pro subscription
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe; we never see your card details

Data Access

This add-on requests only the minimum permissions necessary:

  • Gmail (Read-Only): Search emails by your criteria (sender, subject, date) and download file attachments. We cannot send, delete, or modify any emails.
  • Google Drive (Limited): Temporarily convert Excel files for parsing. Converted files are deleted immediately after processing.
  • Google Sheets (Current File): Write imported data to your spreadsheet and create an activity log sheet.
  • Triggers: Create time-based triggers for scheduled imports (Pro feature only).

We do NOT:

  • Send emails on your behalf
  • Delete or modify any emails
  • Store email content outside Google's servers
  • Access emails not matching your search criteria
  • Share your data with third parties (except payment processing)

What Data We Store

  • Import Profiles: Stored in your Google Account's User Properties. Only you can access them.
  • License Key: Stored in your Google Account's User Properties.
  • Activity Logs: Stored in your spreadsheet's _Import_Log sheet. You control who can see this.
  • License Record: Your email and license status stored in our database for subscription management.

We do NOT store: Email content, attachment contents, imported data, or any spreadsheet data.

How We Use Your Information

  • To validate your license and provide appropriate features
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe
  • To send important product updates (you can opt out)
  • To respond to support requests

Free vs Pro Tiers

  • Free tier: 1 import profile, CSV files only, 50 attachments/month, manual imports
  • Pro tier ($14.99/mo): Unlimited profiles, Excel support, automated scheduling, email notifications

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

We retain your license information while your subscription is active. After cancellation, we retain records for 90 days for accounting purposes, then delete them.

Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of data we hold about you
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data
  • Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from product emails
